North American poker fans have received very bad news this week. The Massachusetts’ politician, Barney Frank, who had planned to propose in the Congress a new pro poker law, has decided to leave it on one side for the moment, as more important financial matters need his full attention.
In spite of the bad news, the Poker Players Alliance will not give up their fight, and will keep battling to get a new game law more favourable to the development of online gaming.

Nowadays, there are poker fans everywhere. The nature of this game has captivated so many people, who enjoy not only playing but also gambling. There are so many different ways of gambling and not always is about the money. In fact, the imagination of some players is incredible, and in some cases the gambles are going too far. The more surprising gamble I have heard so far is the one done by Ismail Sheikh in West Bengal, who didn’t have a better idea than gamble her own 18 years old daughter. Unbelievable!
